I had much the same thoughts ...Thanks for the post. I had much the same thoughts when reading this trilogy. I could not put the books down, they were very interesting. But I actually felt physically ill when I finished MockingJay, for the same reasons stated here. The lack of respect for Life was appalling, and the number of deaths, nearly all completely unnecessary, was nauseating. But I do agree that this series improved my Catholic Faith.
